In the fall of 2021, I was the Assistant Lighting Designer for the BYU Theater Production Julius Caesar. The Lighting Designer was Emma Hansen.
Designers on the Project
The director was Linda Hartzell. The lighting designer was Emma Hansen. The assistant lighting designer was Holly Showalter. The Set Designer was Michael Kraczek. The costume designer was Dennis Wright. The assistant costume designer was Ryver Mecham.
The Orchard
These are production photos of the scene I was responsible for the lighting. I found the gobos used in the lighting. I also created the cues for this scene as well.
Paper Work Done for the Lighting Designer
I took notes during meetings for the lighting designer. I also did a Light Scene Breakdown for the lighting designer. I also did a lot of research for the specific lanterns needed during a scene to match the director's vision.
